The Target has a very limited size and is activated by a request
from the Audioguide to
answer with its own code.
The code transmission is very fast and discriminating: only the Audioguide
that activated the Target recognizes the code so it is impossible any
code mismatching.
Maximum transmission distance is 5 meters, and
the directional characteristic of the radiation cone allows
to point two objects with very limited separation.
Two power supply options are available:

internal button battery providing 1 year of operation
-
additional solar cells that using the ambient light
can recharge the battery so that battery replacement
is no longer necessary.
