DOCKING STATION

The docking station is used for fast re-charging of the audioguides batteries and has a
maximum capacity of 24 audioguides simultaneously.
The devices is housed in a suitcase for an easy transportation. It includes 24
independent microprocessor-controlled circuits.

Each re-charging circuit optimizes the recharging current based on the status
of the corresponding battery pack and signals the fast charge activity
powering an LED. When the fast charge phase is completed, the circuit
enters in a phase of charge maintainement (trickle-charge).
The audioguidee therefore can indefinetly remain in the re-charging slots, with
no danger to overcharge and damage the battery-packs.
